Beth Price, Project Coordinator

Communication is important to every business, and that is what makes Beth so valuable to ours. She credits growing up in a military family with providing her the opportunity to connect with people from many different states and countries. While living and studying in Munich, Germany, she received an Associate of Arts degree. She then returned to the states to continue her education at the University of Maryland where she earned BA’s in both English Education and Criminal Justice.

Out of college, Beth put her education to good use when she served as Director of the JCC After School Program in Rockville, Maryland. There, she oversaw all aspects of operation, including program development, staff training, and transportation. She provided much-needed leadership and structure to the program, which resulted in progressive increases in enrollment during her tenure there.

From there, Beth moved into the classroom and achieved her dream of becoming an English teacher. Teaching sixth graders at a middle school in Montgomery County, Maryland, she discovered that her job as an educator was more about learning than it was about teaching. Still, her success at engaging her students in the processes of reading and writing drew attention, and she was selected to create and write curriculum to be used by the county’s Humanities and Communications Magnet Programs.

A move to Dallas, Texas brought with it a new professional opportunity. There she was Manager of Accounts Receivable at eatZi’s Market and Bakery. Her interpersonal skills and detail-oriented style served her well in this role and enabled her to recover $60,000 in her first six months there. Establishing positive rapport with clients and vendors opened closed doors and revived many valuable relationships for the store.

Beth’s role at VSAG leverages her passions and her strengths. As one of the Project Coordinators who makes first contact with our Clients, we’re fortunate to have her on the team!
